The Behavior Analyst Certification Board is a nonprofit corporation established as a result of credentialing needs identified by behavior analysts, state governments, and consumers of behavior analysis services.  The BACB's mission is to develop, promote, and implement a voluntary international certification program for behavior analyst practitioners.  You will find a list of BCBAs and BCaBAs specific to your area, requirements for becoming certified, task lists, and more.

The Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis

There are lots of journals to read, however this one has probably the longest history and widest body or research available with full text articles available for free online.  The Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis is a psychology journal that publishes research about applications of the experimental analysis of behavior to problems of social importance.

TeachTown is a computer assisted ABA therapy program for children with ASD and related special needs.  Currently they have a product available for children with a developmental age of 2yrs-7yrs.  This means that even older children may see many benefits in using their program.  The program includes computer lessons, off-computer activities, data collection, reports for IEPs, communication systems, and real time data synchronization.  Check it out!!!

The CHAT

Early detection of autism is critical to the future of young children who may be at risk for ASD. The M-CHAT questionnaire is a screening tool used to facilitate early detection of autism. Pediatricians and family doctors often use this questionnaire during a child's 18 or 24-month developmental check-up.
